Schweiger Dermatology Group is seeking a Medical Assistant/Patient Coordinator to join their team in Princeton, New Jersey. This is a full-time hybrid position that involves both clinical and front office duties, supporting patients and providers to ensure the highest quality of care.
Responsibilities:
Assisting providers with medical, cosmetic, and laser procedures.
Preparing and maintaining exam rooms.
Managing inventory and stocking supplies.
Documenting treatments, medications, and patient information.
Handling patient scheduling, payments, and insurance information.
Managing phone calls and communications.
Performing administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Previous healthcare experience required.
6 months to 1 year of experience in dermatology preferred.
Proficiency in EMR systems and patient scheduling tools preferred.
High School Diploma or GED required; advanced education is encouraged.
Certification as a Medical Assistant is highly encouraged.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
