FX Options Market Maker at Maven

Maven is seeking an FX Options Market Maker to join their team in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for building out Maven’s FX Options Market Making division and managing the day-to-day trading of the relevant book.

The role involves rigorous risk management, compliance with regulatory rules, and improving strategies through analysis and collaboration with developers. The Market Maker will also proactively help other books achieve their goals and design and implement new trading strategies.

Role Involves:

• Building out Maven’s FX Options Market Making division.
• Day-to-day responsibility of trading the relevant book
• Rigorous risk management and perfect compliance with regulatory rules
• Improving strategies through analysis, prototyping and collaboration with developers
• Proactive behaviour in helping other books achieve their goals through observation and analysis of trading behaviour
• Designing and implementing new trading strategies
• Openness to trading new products and willingness to set them up
• To comply with all applicable Compliance policies, procedures, laws and regulations.

Requirements:

• Prior FX options market making experience
• Successful track record of proven P&L and market share
• Good understanding of trading systems
• Outstanding numerical and analytical skills
• Proactive interest in improving existing trading strategies and identifying new opportunities
• Ability to take a high level of responsibility in an expanding, highly successful firm
• Excellent attention to detail
• Fast problem solving skills
