Calm is seeking a Partnerships & Business Development Manager to join its Strategic Partnerships team. The role involves developing, negotiating, closing, and managing strategic agreements to support Calm’s mission and growth. The Partnerships & Business Development Manager will work cross-functionally with various Calm teams, including Legal, Marketing, Content, and Product, to launch and manage partnerships.

Responsibilities include:

  • Identifying, negotiating, and managing prospective partnerships.
  • Identifying and scoping new opportunities to grow partnerships.
  • Building relationships and credibility within partner organizations.
  • Leading a virtual team of cross-functional experts to deliver partnership deals.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in international Partnerships development.
  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills with experience with financial modeling.
  • Experience owning the contract negotiation process.
  • Strong communication & storytelling skills.
  • Keen sense for prioritization.
  • A self-starter that isn’t afraid to step in when needed.
  • 5+ years of related experience in Business Development or Partner Management at a tech company.
  • Passion for understanding our partners’ businesses and finding ways to deliver win-win value.
  • Ability to present in both formal and informal settings.
