Calm is seeking a Core Services Lead Product Manager to drive the development of its Subscription Services and foundational platform features. The Product Manager will design and deliver scalable, user-focused solutions for both Direct-to-Consumer (DtC) and Business-to-Business (B2B) audiences. This role involves ensuring seamless integration, flexibility, and alignment with Calm’s expanding portfolio of applications and services.
The Core Services Lead Product Manager will be responsible for:
- Leading the development of Calm’s subscription systems, ensuring robust solutions for billing, renewals, upgrades, cancellations, and multi-user access.
- Creating flexible subscription models to support diverse pricing structures, bundling, and promotional campaigns for DtC and B2B markets.
- Building systems that support global pricing, currency localization, and tax compliance.
- Overseeing the development of secure, scalable user authentication and access management systems.
- Driving enhancements to Calm’s content delivery platform, ensuring personalized and efficient access to tailored content.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- 8+ years of product management experience, ideally in subscription services or platform development for SaaS or consumer technology companies.
- In-depth knowledge of subscription systems, recurring billing platforms (e.g., Stripe, Zuora, Recurly), and API-driven platform development.
- Proven ability to design subscription solutions for individual consumers and enterprise clients with a focus on usability and scalability.
- Experience using analytics tools to identify trends, predict churn, and drive retention strategies.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a history of working effectively with cross-functional teams.
