Integrated Specialty Coverages (ISC) is seeking a P&C Broker & Underwriter to support its Wholesale Broking Division. The candidate will provide technical expertise and administrative services for account placement and client service, focusing on small market casualty and construction accounts. ISC is an Insurtech powerhouse combining insurance and technology.

Responsibilities:
  • Communicates with retail agency personnel and underwriters.
  • Prepares and handles existing renewal accounts.
  • Solicits new business from retail clients.
  • Inputs and updates client information in systems.
  • Manages 40 accounts a week, ranging from $2,500 up to $100k in premium.
  • Prepares market submissions and quote cover letters to Agents.
  • Reviews policies for accuracy.
  • Fulfills assigned account transactions and document preparation.
  • Engages and negotiates with carrier relationships.
  • Resolves invoicing issues with Premium Accounting.
  • Ensures claim notifications are sent.
  • Performs basic office duties.

Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in commercial insurance brokerage or underwriting, specific to casualty.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Wholesale or retail agency/brokerage experience.
  • Must be able to pass state exam and obtain insurance license.
  • Understanding of insurance products and services.
  • Ability to manage workload with minimal supervision in a remote setting.
  • Strong external communication skills.
  • Critical attention to details.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
