Lead Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Job Description

Together AI is seeking a Lead Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to manage the cloud foundation for its data platforms. This role involves defining, building, and maintaining the AWS infrastructure that supports data engineering systems across the company.Responsibilities include:

• Designing, implementing, and operating AWS-based infrastructure.
• Building and maintaining Terraform infrastructure modules.
• Collaborating with data engineering teams to support their infrastructure needs.
• Implementing and maintaining IAM policies and Lake Formation permissions.
• Building internal tooling and automation for self-service infra provisioning.
• Monitoring infrastructure health and cost, and driving improvements.
• Serving as the point person for infrastructure questions.

Requirements include:

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure, SRE, or DevOps roles.
• Deep experience with Terraform and AWS infrastructure design.
• Experience with access control and permissions in AWS, including Lake Formation.
• Experience supporting data infrastructure or working alongside data engineering teams.
• Familiarity with CI/CD for infrastructure.
• Proficiency in scripting or programming (Python, Go, or Bash preferred).
• Comfortable working autonomously and supporting multiple stakeholders.
