Engineering Manager at Duetto Research

Duetto is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead its integration teams. The company fosters an open and collaborative environment, valuing diverse backgrounds and experiences. The Engineering Manager will collaborate with stakeholders to build integrations with partner and hotel data sources. The ideal candidate will be passionate about building high-performing engineering teams, delivering quality products, and advancing the architecture to support rapid customer onboarding.

What this role involves:

• Owning the execution and timely delivery of the product’s roadmap.
• Ensuring quality of product.
• Providing coaching, mentorship and leadership to the teams.
• Acting as the scrum master for the teams.
• Collaborating closely with the product owner and teams on the planning, design and implementation of new features.
• Working with the team to build a technical roadmap.
• Helping design solutions for features and review the code.

Requirements:

• 10+ years experience building enterprise-grade SaaS applications, including 2+ years managing teams of at least five full-stack engineers.
• Strong foundation in building modern scalable web applications with enough depth on both frontend and backend technologies.
• Track record of delivering complex software products on time with high quality using agile methodologies.
• Manage and mentor a thriving, collaborative, distributed engineering team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience collaborating with US-based product companies and globally distributed teams to provide value iteratively using agile and scrum methodologies.
• Experience in Java server technologies, NoSQL-MongoDB, PostGres and AWS.
• Curiosity about business problems and using modern infrastructure to solve real-world challenges.
