Job Description
DeVries, a culture-first communications agency, is seeking a Vice President to provide corporate communications counsel and manage day-to-day responsibilities. The VP will play a key role in growing the agency’s corporate communications assignments and the staff’s corporate communications skills. They will lead corporate communications-heavy accounts as the primary client partner and agency team leader.

Role involves:
  • Storytelling and positioning
  • Activation plan development
  • Corporate sponsorships and executive speaking engagements
  • Media relations
  • Social media strategy
  • Internal communications
  • Corporate affairs management
  • Medical affairs communications
  • R&D communications
  • Client service

Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in corporate communications
  • Experience developing and executing corporate reputation programs
  • Relationships with marketing and industry organizations
  • Advanced knowledge of top-tier business and NY media
  • Well-developed skills in building and maintaining traditional and digital media relationships
  • Ability to engage with and counsel senior-level decision-makers
  • Demonstrated experience working directly with clients and managing teams
  • Superior writing skills
  • Entrepreneurial attitude
