Mission Bio, a Series D company focused on cancer eradication through innovative microfluidic systems, is seeking a Field Applications Scientist for the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). This role combines traditional FAS responsibilities with bioinformatics expertise, playing a key role in pre-sales, market development, customer onboarding, data interpretation, and platform troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will expand Mission Bio’s platform reach, collaborating with Sales and Marketing to drive adoption and ensure customer success. Fluency in English and German is required.

Role Involves:
  • Providing pre- and post-sales support, including technical seminars and product demonstrations.
  • Delivering high-quality training on experimental design and data interpretation.
  • Supporting market development activities and tailoring messaging.
  • Acting as a liaison between customers and internal teams.
  • Assisting customers in NGS data analysis.
  • Documenting activities and customer interactions with Salesforce.
  • Supporting strategic initiatives like trade shows and workshops.

Requirements:
  • Strong communication skills and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft and Google tools.
  • Minimum 3 years of lab experience with knowledge of molecular biology, NGS, cancer biology, and/or informatics.
  • BSc with 5+ years experience, or MS with 3+ years, PhD preferred.
