Butternut Box is seeking a Maintenance Specialist to report to the Engineering Manager and ensure the smooth operation of the Zabrze facility. The role involves maintaining production equipment and infrastructure.Responsibilities:

• Diagnosing and repairing electrical and automation system failures (PLC, sensors, controllers, etc.).
• Performing regular preventive maintenance on machines and equipment.
• Repairing and replacing damaged components.
• Collaborating with production, distribution, and other departments to minimize downtime and optimize processes.
• Providing technical expertise during the commissioning of new machines and equipment.
• Maintaining basic technical documentation related to performed tasks.
• Participating in failure analysis and implementing preventive measures.
• Maintaining the proper technical condition of tools and workstations.

Requirements:

• Several years of experience in a similar position.
• Technical education (mechanics, electrical engineering, automation, or related field).
• SEP electrical qualifications or willingness to obtain them.
• Knowledge of PLC programming in modern systems, e.g., Siemens, Allen Bradley, ABB.
• Analytical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication skills.
• Familiarity with MS Office Suite.
• Willingness to work in a shift system.
• Experience in the food or FMCG industry is a plus.
• Communicative English.
