Job Description

Butternut Box is seeking a Maintenance Specialist - Automation Engineer to report to the Engineering Manager and play a key role in ensuring the continuity of the plant's operation through effective maintenance of all production equipment and plant infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnosing and repairing electrical and automation systems failures (PLC, sensors, controllers, etc.).
• Performing regular preventive inspections of machines and equipment.
• Repairing and replacing damaged components.
• Cooperating with production, distribution and other organizational units to minimize downtime and optimize processes.
• Providing technical expertise in the commissioning of new machines and equipment.
• Maintaining basic technical documentation related to the tasks performed.
• Taking an active part in the analysis of the causes of failures and the implementation of preventive actions.
• Maintaining the correct technical condition of tools and workstations.

Requirements:

• Several years of experience in a similar position.
• Technical education (mechanics, electrical, automation or related).
• SEP electrical qualifications or willingness to obtain them.
• Knowledge of PLC programming in modern systems, e.g. Siemens, Allen Bradley, ABB.
• Ability to think analytically, solve problems and communicate effectively.
• Knowledge of MS Office Package.
• Readiness to work in a shift system - a mandatory requirement.
• Experience in the food or FMCG industry will be an advantage.
• Communicative level of English.
