Foundation Risk Partners is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join their Knauf Maxwell team in Pasadena, California. This is a hybrid role where the Account Manager will collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality customer service and ensure service standards are met. The Account Manager will provide efficient, professional, and courteous service to clients via phone, in writing, and in person. They will be responsible for risk management by openly exchanging ideas, elevating concerns, and following policies and procedures.
  • Gathering and preparing renewal information (loss runs, drivers lists, etc.)
  • Processing endorsement requests, certificates of insurance, and cancellations
  • Handling operations duties related to new/existing accounts and risk management
  • Ensuring timely and accurate execution of assigned transactions
  • Occasional client contact to provide insurance information
  • Educating business partners on insurance products and compliance
  • Invoicing accounts and processing premiums
  • Maintaining current files and preparing policy renewal questionnaires
  • Updating the agency system with client information
  • P&C license in the State of California
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years of industry experience
  • Epic experience
  • Surplus/excess lines experience
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong prioritization and task management skills
  • Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
