The company is seeking a Data Engineer to work on a production system that manages clients and life insurance programs. The Data Engineer will be responsible for maintaining existing functionality, developing new features, monitoring system stability, handling incident management, troubleshooting data issues, and contributing to data engineering tasks.

What this role involves:

  • Monitoring the production system to ensure stability and performance.
  • Handling incident management, including detection, escalation, and resolution.
  • Troubleshooting issues related to client and insurance program data.
  • Executing operational checklists and routine system health checks.
  • Maintaining and improving support documentation for internal use.
  • Contributing to data engineering tasks such as data pipeline maintenance and data quality checks.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer in production environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure services, including Azure Data Factory (ADF), Logic Apps, and Databricks Notebooks using Python.
  • Familiarity with PowerApps is a plus.
  • English proficiency at B1 level or higher.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
