The NFL is seeking an intern for its Canada office in Toronto. This is a 12-month, full-time, paid internship. The intern will support various aspects of the business, including marketing, fan development, and corporate partnerships. The intern will gain a comprehensive understanding of the professional football industry through hands-on project assignments, mentorship, and networking opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day support on select accounts and initiatives for corporate partners.
- Lead the fulfillment of merchandise and ticket requests.
- Support partner road trips to NFL games.
- Assist with partner campaign reporting.
- Prepare for NFL Kickoff and other key marketing events.
- Provide input on new business pitches.
- Support the execution of season-long campaigns.
- Support database marketing programs.
- Update Canadian-specific webpages and content.
- Assist with administrative duties.
Requirements:
- Recently completed Undergraduate program (preferred, but not required)
- Preferred Major and Coursework: Suggested but not limited to Business, Economics, Marketing, Sports Management, or Communications
- OR 2-3 years of relevant work experience
- Passion for the business of sport
- Strong organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills
- Clear & concise communicator, written and oral
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders
- Proactive and a team player
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Canva
- Active passport and ability to travel if needed to do so is an asset
