Strategic Finance Analyst at Hungryroot

Hungryroot, an AI-driven food and wellness company, is seeking a Strategic Finance Analyst to join their team. This role is crucial for forecasting, business analytics, and core metrics, supporting the company's rapid growth. The analyst will work closely with the CFO and cross-functional teams to provide insights on business performance and strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Develop core forecasting and planning tools.
• Monitor and analyze weekly and monthly KPIs.
• Build financial models for new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners in Operations, Marketing, and Technology.
• Deliver timely and accurate financial and operational performance analyses.
• Track and analyze budget vs. actual spend.
• Identify and implement continuous improvements to the Finance function.
• Support ad-hoc analyses and projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree and a record of academic excellence
• 1-4 years of relevant experience in investment banking, equity research, investing, financial services, management consulting, or experience at a high-growth tech-enabled company in Strategic Finance, FP&A, Business Intelligence or similar role.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience in building and adapting financial models or using financial planning software.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Project management skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills.
