Trucking Total Loss Adjuster at Reserv

Reserv, an insurtech company focused on automating claims processes, is seeking a Transportation Claims Total Loss Specialist. This role involves managing the total loss settlement process, working with various vendors, and ensuring efficient claim resolution. The specialist will handle an inventory of claims, triage critical issues, and collaborate with product and engineering teams to improve processes.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing customer service to policyholders and claimants
• Gathering necessary claim information
• Managing a claim inventory and establishing reserves
• Coordinating with salvage vendors
• Recognizing recovery opportunities
• Ensuring compliance with regulations
• Negotiating total loss settlements
• Providing input for process improvements
• Overseeing investigative service providers
• Engaging in learning opportunities

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 years of transportation claims adjusting experience
• Total Loss adjusting experience
• First-party Comp and Collision experience
• Third-party Property Damage Liability experience
• Active adjuster license(s) or willingness to obtain them
• Knowledge of state regulations and procedures
• Commercial experience preferred
• Analytical and decision-making skills
• Problem-solving abilities
• Willingness to travel
