Pediatric PMHNP - Part-Time at Backpack Healthcare

Backpack Healthcare, a clinician-led online behavioral health company, seeks a part-time Pediatric PMHNP to provide medication management to children and adolescents in Maryland. The PMHNP will conduct psychiatric evaluations, develop treatment plans, prescribe medications, and monitor patient progress.

Role Involves:

• Conducting psychiatric evaluations for children and adolescents.
• Developing individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribing and monitoring psychotropic medications.
• Collaborating with healthcare providers and community organizations.
• Maintaining accurate medical records.
• Attending meetings and training sessions.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in medication management for children and adolescents.
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing with PMH specialization.
• Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
• Current, unrestricted APRN license in Maryland.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
