Pediatric PMHNP - Part-Time at Backpack Healthcare

Backpack Healthcare, a clinician-led online behavioral health company, seeks a part-time Pediatric Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide medication management services to children and adolescents in Maryland. The PMHNP will work on a fee-for-service basis, conducting psychiatric evaluations, developing treatment plans, prescribing medications, and monitoring patient progress.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations.
• Developing individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribing and monitoring psychotropic medications.
• Collaborating with other healthcare providers.
• Maintaining accurate medical records.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in medication management for children and adolescents.
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing with PMH specialization.
• Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
• Current, unrestricted APRN license in Maryland.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
