Pediatric PMHNP - Part-Time at Backpack Healthcare

Backpack Healthcare, a clinician-led online behavioral health company, seeks a part-time Pediatric Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide medication management services to children and adolescents in Maryland. The PMHNP will be responsible for psychiatric evaluations, treatment planning, medication prescription, and patient progress monitoring.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting psychiatric evaluations for children and adolescents.
• Developing individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribing and monitoring psychotropic medications.
• Collaborating with healthcare providers and community organizations.
• Maintaining accurate medical records.
• Attending meetings and training sessions.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in medication management for children and adolescents.
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing with PMH specialization.
• Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
• Current, unrestricted APRN license in Maryland.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
