Backpack is seeking a Clinical Sales Director to lead and drive clinical sales efforts with health plans, FQHCs, and schools. The Clinical Sales Director will oversee the boots-on-the-ground team, account management, and clinical contracting efforts, ensuring seamless execution of partnerships and service delivery. The ideal candidate is a licensed clinician with a strong background in mental health and a proven track record in selling and executing contracts with FQHCs and schools.Role involves:
  • Serving as the primary sales lead for clinical sales efforts.
  • Developing and executing strategic sales plans.
  • Driving the full sales cycle.
  • Owning revenue targets and pipeline forecasting.
  • Overseeing and managing the boots-on-the-ground team.
  • Leading the account management team.
  • Managing the clinical contracting process.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with decision-makers.
  • Identifying new opportunities for partnerships.
  • Serving as a trusted clinical and business advisor.
Requirements:
  • Mental health experience is required.
  • Prior experience selling and executing deals with FQHCs and schools.
  • Licensed clinician strongly preferred (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, PhD, PsyD, or equivalent).
  • 7+ years of experience in clinical sales, business development, or account management within healthcare.
  • Strong leadership experience, including managing field sales teams and account management teams.
  • Proven ability to drive revenue growth and execute sales strategies in the healthcare space.
  • Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
