DFM Development Services is seeking an Assistant Director of Environmental Compliance to help lead its Environmental Compliance Consulting Department. The Assistant Director will coordinate and oversee inspectors and project managers, ensuring timely completion of high-quality work. They will manage client expectations, track Stormwater Management facility inspections and certifications, and support emerging EC opportunities. The role involves participating in business development activities and developing the knowledge to become Director of Environmental Compliance within three years.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating and overseeing inspectors and project managers.
  • Ensuring timely completion of high-quality work products.
  • Managing client expectations and delivering excellent customer service.
  • Tracking Stormwater Management facility inspections and Stormwater as-built certifications.
  • Preparing and submitting proposals and completing targeted marketing campaigns using Salesforce.
  • Supporting emerging EC opportunities.
  • Participating in business development activities.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of various stormwater management facility types.
  • Ability to organize information to run inspection and certification programs.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to consistent quality control.
  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental or other relevant natural science.
  • 5+ years of proven construction/land development, stormwater, or related environmental compliance experience.
  • Knowledge with Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe, Salesforce, Revu Bluebeam.
