Banner Consultant - Student at Strata Information Group

Strata Information Group (SIG) is seeking a Banner Student Consultant to join their team. SIG is dedicated to excellence and innovation, serving over 1,000 higher education institutions globally since 1988. The consultant will collaborate with clients to gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for Banner® Student. This role involves hands-on configuration, customization, and troubleshooting support for Banner® Student.

The consultant will also develop and document best practices, workflows, and standard operating procedures. They will assist with system testing, deliver training sessions, and provide ongoing support and system maintenance. Staying current with updates and new features in Banner® Student is also a key aspect of the role.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to gather business requirements.
• Configure and implement Banner® Student.
• Provide hands-on configuration, customization, and troubleshooting support.
• Develop and document best practices, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
• Assist with system testing, including data migrations, integrations, and post-implementation support.
• Deliver training sessions to end-users.
• Provide ongoing support and system maintenance.
• Stay current with updates and new features in Banner® Student.
• Work with cross-functional teams.
• Assist in report generation and analytics.
• Help institutions navigate compliance with data privacy and security standards.

Requirements:

• Five or more years working directly with Banner® Student functionality.
• Experience implementing Banner® Student at a college or university.
• Expertise using Banner® Student to improve and automate business processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical and functional issues within Banner® Student.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Highly self-directed with solid problem-solving expertise.
