Staff Engineer - Product (Remote) at Pair Team

Pair Team is seeking a Staff Product Engineer to drive the evolution of their care delivery platform. The Staff Engineer will take ownership of complex, cross-functional initiatives, design scalable systems, and mentor engineers. The role involves collaborating with product, design, clinical, and operations teams to deliver patient-centered solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of end-to-end product features.
• Set technical direction and architectural standards.
• Identify and solve high-leverage technical problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Serve as a technical mentor.
• Drive alignment between technical execution and business goals.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience building and scaling user-facing products.
• Proven ability to design and deliver complex, full-stack web applications.
• Strong experience with relational database design and data modeling.
• Proficiency with modern web frameworks—React and Ruby on Rails experience preferred.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and deployment, especially within AWS.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and owning technical decisions.
