Team Rubicon is seeking an Associate, Construction Project Management to join its Programs team. The Associate will plan and coordinate construction activities across the United States, utilizing licensed contractors and skilled tradesmen. This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills, knowledge of construction methods, and proficiency in relevant software. Responsibilities:
  • Plan and oversee building production goals.
  • Produce cost estimates via Xactimate.
  • Create scopes of work and schedules via Procore.
  • Review plans and vet vendors and subcontractors.
  • Manage project costs and monitor trends.
  • Manage sub-contracted work.
  • Conduct project site visits to ensure compliance.
  • Apply for and manage building permits.
  • Communicate project progress to clients.
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of experience in project management or business operations, preferably in residential construction.
  • 1-3 years of experience in relationship management.
  • Working knowledge of residential construction and building codes.
  • Experience with Critical Path Scheduling methods.
  • Experience working with local community recovery efforts is a plus.
  • Demonstrated success in matrix managed environments.
