Roofr is seeking a Senior People Operations Specialist to join their growing team. This role is crucial in building and supporting key programs across the employee experience, including onboarding, engagement, performance, and benefits. The ideal candidate will be passionate about people, thrive in a fast-paced, fully remote startup environment, and be ready to contribute to a positive employee experience.
Responsibilities:
- Be a go-to resource for employees, answering questions and providing support.
- Ensure seamless onboarding and offboarding experiences.
- Support benefits administration and employee leave tracking.
- Maintain and update employee data in the HRIS (Rippling).
- Help document and maintain People policies and resources.
- Support company-wide engagement efforts.
- Manage international employment via Deel.
- Identify opportunities to improve the employee experience.
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience in People Operations or HR Coordination.
- Experience in a scaling, remote startup environment (150-300 employees).
- High energy, high empathy, and a clear culture champion.
- Creative problem-solving skills.
- Resourceful and adaptable to dynamic environments.
- Clear and effective communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities.
- Sharp eye for detail and a high bar for quality.
