AI Automation Developer - Remote at Open Core Ventures

Open Core Ventures is seeking an AI Automation Developer to enhance workflow efficiency and integrate AI capabilities across its core functions. The role involves creating smart, scalable AI and custom engineering solutions to support the company's goal of launching 2,000 new companies annually. The AI Automation Developer will work within a small team and directly contribute to the company formation engine.

Responsibilities:

• Automate critical workflows to streamline the company formation process.
• Embed AI into core business processes and daily operations.
• Design and maintain internal platforms to manage the company's portfolio.
• Evaluate emerging AI tools to improve work processes.
• Serve as systems administrator for core platforms.
• Lead workflow automation projects from concept to implementation.
• Build, test, and iterate solutions to deliver rapid impact.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Software engineering background, especially in backend systems and workflow automation.
• Proficiency with LLMs (OpenAI, Claude, etc.), APIs, RAG, and prompt engineering.
• Experience with Ruby on Rails is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
