Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to positively impact children with autism. The Behavior Technician will work directly with children, implementing behavior intervention plans under a BCBA's guidance. They will employ evidence-based techniques to improve communication, social skills, and daily living skills, while addressing challenging behaviors.Role involves:
- Implementing individualized behavior intervention plans.
- Teaching communication, social, and daily living skills.
- Reducing interfering behaviors.
- Working collaboratively in a team environment.
Requirements:
- Passionate about helping children with autism.
- Patient, compassionate, and a team player.
- Must be 18+ years of age.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification, and Tuberculosis test.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
- Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.
