Horizon Media is seeking an Assistant Investor to join their team. This role is based in New York City. Horizon Media is recognized as one of the most innovative marketing and advertising firms. The Assistant Investor will gain an understanding of the audio and video landscape and negotiation process, which will lead to advancement to an Investor in audio and video.

Role Involves:
  • Ordering & confirming orders
  • Handling makegoods
  • Monitoring placement of scheduled spots
  • Maintaining added value and billing reconciliation
  • Maintaining accurate buy files with financial information to align with buying system
  • Assuming buying responsibilities from pre-buy to post buy in small markets
  • Implementing work-related goals established by Senior Investor(s)/Brand Solutions Team on behalf of clients
  • Reviewing & understanding buying guidelines (goals & objectives) with your Senior Investor(s)
  • Establishing & maintaining business relationship with vendor partners
  • Learning & understanding media terminology

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant work or internship experience
  • Proficiency working within Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint, and Strata View & SBMS
  • Detail oriented, strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, good communication skills, ability to recognize problems & identify solutions, willingness to learn & grow
