Johnson Controls is seeking an Associate Sales Engineer to join their team in Kansas City, MO. This role is part of the Early Career Sales Engineering (BEST) Program, a 6-month technical sales development program designed for recent college graduates. The Associate Sales Engineer will focus on creating market share by strategically selling Johnson Controls’ HVAC products and services to commercial customers.Role involves:
  • Estimating job bids and preparing proposals.
  • Coordinating with vendors and subcontractors.
  • Making sales calls to generate new business.
  • Presenting solutions to customers.
  • Collecting and analyzing market intelligence.
  • Turning projects over to operations team.
Requirements:
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (engineering, construction management, IT etc.) and graduating in December 2024 and May/June 2025.
  • Strong analytical ability to solve problems and ability to learn quickly.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and cross-functional teams with minimum guidance.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
Johnson Controls offers:
  • Competitive salary starting at $56k base plus guaranteed commission and sign-on bonus with total compensation of $83k.
