Johnson Controls is seeking a Sales Application Specialist to join their team in Norman, OK. This role supports the inside sales team of York National Accounts, providing crucial assistance to Sales Application Engineers with project estimates for HVAC products for national chain customers. The position also extends support to other team members and Account professionals, including sales managers and engineers, by offering technical support, product selection assistance, order processing assistance, and expediting orders. The Sales Application Specialist supports existing customers and prospects for new customers, creates take-off plans and specifications, develops and prices estimates, writes proposals, and bids on jobs.
Role Involves:
- Supporting Sales Application Engineers with project estimates.
- Providing technical and product selection assistance.
- Assisting with order processing and expediting.
- Creating take-off plans and specifications.
- Developing and pricing estimates.
- Writing proposals and bidding on jobs.
Requirements:
- University degree and 1 year suggested minimum experience, or 2 year degree and 4 years suggested minimum experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Technical background with HVAC knowledge.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office products, particularly Excel.
