M&S Engineering is seeking a highly organized and energetic Electric Distribution Designer Trainee for a position in Fort Worth, TX. This role is not remote and reports to the office.About the Role:This trainee will be mentored by experienced Electric Distribution Designers, learning the processes involved in creating electric distribution field designs, staking distribution facilities, estimating project costs, and preparing construction prints using electronic design/estimation software, all while adhering to the client's construction standards and specifications.Role Involves:

• Producing electric distribution field designs.
• Staking distribution facilities.
• Estimating project costs.
• Preparing construction prints.

Requirements:

• Must possess a High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• Possess a current Texas Driver’s License with an insurable driving record.
• Ability to represent self professionally.
• Ability to stay abreast with changing technologies.
• Ability to take personal responsibility for work quality.
• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Proficient with MS Outlook and working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.
• Ability to work outdoors for extended hours in various climate conditions and travel.
• Ability to walk over various terrain and carry equipment.
• Ability to use tools to clear brush.
