M&S Engineering is seeking a highly organized and energetic Electric Distribution Design Technician for their Beaumont, Texas office. This role supports distribution design/engineering projects across multiple states. The technician will produce field designs, stake distribution facilities, estimate projects, and prepare construction prints using electronic design/estimation software, adhering to client standards.

• Producing electric distribution field designs
• Staking of distribution facilities
• Project estimation
• Preparation of construction prints using electronic design/estimation software

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Current Texas Driver’s License with an insurable driving record

Preferences:

• Associates degree or certificate in Electric Power Technology with a minimum of one (1) year experience or three (3) years prior experience with electric distribution design and estimation.
