Central California Alliance for Health is seeking a Utilization Management Manager - Concurrent Review (RN) to lead the Utilization Management - Concurrent Review Department. This role reports to the Utilization Management Director and is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing the Utilization Management Unit with a focus on Concurrent Review. The manager will perform program effectiveness evaluations, manage, supervise, mentor, and train assigned staff. They will also provide leadership in Health Services programs, operations, projects, policies, procedures, and departmental operations.Role involves:
  • Planning and managing the Utilization Management Unit
  • Performing program effectiveness evaluation
  • Managing, supervising, mentoring, and training staff
  • Providing leadership in Health Services programs
Requirements:
  • Current unrestricted RN license in California
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (or Associate’s with additional experience)
  • Minimum of six years of experience, including utilization management, case management, and supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of clinical nursing principles, utilization management, and relevant regulations
  • Ability to train, supervise, and evaluate staff
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
