Adswerve, an award-winning data, media, and tech consultancy, is seeking a Media Strategist to join its Media Services team. This role involves strategic partnership with clients and internal teams to ensure media campaigns achieve marketing objectives. The ideal candidate possesses a passion for digital media and deep expertise in Search Activation.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, build, and manage multi-channel media campaigns with a core focus on Search across Google Ads, Search Ads 360, and Microsoft/Bing Ads
- Guide Specialists on campaign implementation, pacing, and in-platform optimizations, ensuring alignment with client KPIs and industry best practices
- Monitor search campaign performance daily; make data-driven adjustments to improve ROI, CTR, and overall efficiency
- Present detailed analysis of search performance and provide strategic recommendations rooted in platform insights and client business objectives
- Act as the primary media point of contact for select client accounts, providing thought leadership in Search Activation and broader performance media strategy
- Partner with analytics and data teams to translate campaign insights into actionable recommendations
- Collaborate with media vendors (including search engines and tech partners); draft and submit RFPs when applicable, evaluate proposals, and develop POVs
- Ensure adherence to internal QA processes and campaign documentation standards
Requirements:
- BA/BS degree, MS/MBA preferred, or equivalent hands-on experience and certifications (e.g., Google Ads Search Certification, SA360)
- 5+ years in a digital media, performance marketing, or ad tech environment with 3+ years of hands-on experience managing search campaigns in Google Ads and/or SA360
- In-platform fluency in Google Ads, SA360, and Microsoft/Bing Ads; bonus for experience with YouTube, DV360, or paid social platforms
- Deep understanding of performance metrics, attribution models, keyword strategies, and bid automation tools
- Proven leadership and mentorship experience with the ability to guide junior team members in both technical and strategic workstreams
- Exceptional attention to detail with a passion for clean execution and campaign hygiene
- Excellent communicator—able to clearly articulate complex media strategies and campaign performance to clients and internal teams
- Highly organized self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
