Shakepay is seeking an Operations Manager to join their BizOps team. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of Shakepay. The Operations Manager will work on cross-functional initiatives, identify high-impact projects, and improve processes to enhance the experience for over a million Canadian users. Shakepay is committed to making Bitcoin accessible to every Canadian.
Role Involves:
- Piloting BizOps projects from ideation to execution.
- Identifying and prioritizing high-impact opportunities.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams (Product, Marketing, Engineering, Operations, Finance).
- Facilitating clarity and alignment among teams.
- Communicating effectively with leadership.
- Mentoring colleagues and shaping the BizOps function.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a relevant field (consulting, banking, start-up operations, etc.).
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis tools (Google Sheets, SQL, BI tools).
- Technical skills: Understanding of APIs, scripting, or process automation tools.
- Familiarity with AI tools and their application in process automation.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a structured and creative approach.
- Project management skills with experience in managing multiple tasks.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Self-motivated and proactive in a fast-paced environment.
