Sales Engineer - EMEA

Job Description

Builder.io is seeking a Sales Engineer to join their team and assist customers in understanding the value of their visual development platform. The Sales Engineer will collaborate with account executives to engage with customer developers and business leaders, understand their needs, provide demonstrations, manage proof of value processes, and close deals. This role involves presenting the Builder platform, working hands-on with prospects, leading proof of value processes, and acting as the internal voice of the customer.

Responsibilities:

• Present the Builder platform to digital leaders, developers and designers
• Work hands-on with prospects and customers to demonstrate and communicate the value of Builder throughout the sales cycle
• Lead proof of value processes with prospects, working as a trusted advisor to help establish goals, success criteria and ensuring that prospects have what they need to be able to achieve them
• Act as the internal voice of the customer and work with product and marketing teams to continuously improve Builder’s products and messaging

Requirements:

• Excellent presentation skills with the ability to distill technical concepts
• 3+ years of experience as a sales engineer/solution consultant/solution engineer/solution architect selling complex technical software to teams including developers as key stakeholders
• Proficiency with modern development methodologies, languages and frameworks (APIs, JavaScript, React, JSON)
• Desire to learn and continuously grow
• Previous experience working in a startup and/or fast-paced organization
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Able to travel up to 25%
