CVX Ventures is seeking an Investment Banking Manager to lead its Danish division in Copenhagen. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a natural ability to build trust and connections, driven, hands-on, and able to inspire a high-performance team.

CVX is one of Europe's fastest-growing venture investors, aiming to become the largest by providing growth companies with capital, knowledge, and networks. The company consists of 20 ambitious individuals in Copenhagen, London, and Oslo.

Role Involves:

  • Defining and executing strategy, adjusting as needed.
  • Leading the Danish expansion, including potential acquisitions.
  • Managing Denmark's profit & loss and overall operations.
  • Building a large and valuable pool of partners.
  • Developing and leading a top-class team of 15 within sales, board work, events & members, and marketing.
  • Finding and attracting the best investment cases.
  • Leading investment deals from sourcing to investment.
  • Representing CVX at events, gatherings, conferences, etc.
  • Reporting directly to the CEO.

Requirements:

  • High work ethic with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Strong drive and a desire to be the best in your field.
  • 5+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, venture capital, high-growth startups, or fast-paced environments.
  • Proactive approach and ability to take ownership.
  • Deep interest in venture capital and the startup environment.
  • People-focused with the ability to bring people together.
  • Effective communication skills at the management and board level.
  • Ability to gain trust from company leaders.
  • Excellent analytical and structured problem-solving skills.
  • Proven success in achieving and exceeding revenue goals.
  • Natural ability to sell and work with sales strategically and operationally.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Fluent in Danish and English.
  • A network in the Danish startup ecosystem is preferred.
