CVX Ventures is seeking an Investment Manager to lead its Danish division in Copenhagen. The role involves strategic and operational responsibility within a fast-paced environment. The Investment Manager will shape the company's vision, drive operational excellence, and ensure long-term profitability.

CVX is described as one of Europe's fastest-growing venture investors, aiming to become the largest by providing growth companies with capital, knowledge, and network. The company operates with over 600 angel investor partners who invest in and support businesses where they can add real value. CVX currently consists of 20 individuals across Copenhagen, London, and Oslo.

Role Involves:

• Defining and executing strategy, with continuous adjustments.
• Leading the Danish expansion, including potential acquisitions.
• Managing Denmark's profit & loss and overall operations.
• Building a large and valuable pool of partners.
• Developing and leading a team of 15 within sales, board work, events & members, and marketing.
• Finding and attracting top investment cases.
• Leading investment deals from sourcing to investment.
• Representing CVX at events, conferences, etc.
• Reporting directly to the CEO.

Requirements:

• High work ethic with a strong sense of urgency.
• Strong drive and a desire to be the best in the field.
• 5+ years of experience, preferably in management consulting, investment banking, venture capital, high-growth startups, or fast-paced work environments.
• Proactive approach and ability to take ownership.
• Deep interest in venture capital and the startup environment.
• People-focused with the ability to bring people together.
• Effective communication skills at the management and board level.
• Ability to gain trust from business leaders.
• Excellent analytical and structured problem-solving skills.
• Proven success in achieving and exceeding revenue goals.
• Natural ability to sell and work with sales strategically and operationally.
• Strong leadership skills, with previous team leadership experience.
• Fluency in Danish and English.
• A network in the Danish startup ecosystem is preferred.
