Job Description
CVX Ventures is seeking a Management Consulting Director to lead its Danish operations in Copenhagen. The role involves shaping the company's vision, driving operational excellence, and ensuring long-term profitability. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with the ability to build trust and inspire a high-performance team.
CVX is a fast-growing venture investor in Europe, aiming to become the largest by providing growth companies with capital, knowledge, and network. They invest alongside business angels, leveraging a network of over 600 angel investors.
Role Involves:
- Defining and executing strategy
- Leading Danish expansion, including potential acquisitions
- Managing Denmark's profit & loss and overall operations
- Building a large pool of partners
- Developing and leading a team of 15 in sales, board work, events, members & marketing
- Finding and attracting investment cases
- Leading investment deals from sourcing to investment
- Representing CVX at events and conferences
- Reporting directly to the CEO
Requirements:
- High work ethic and strong sense of urgency
- 5+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, venture capital, or high-growth startups
- Proactive approach and ability to take ownership
- Deep interest in venture capital and the startup environment
- People-focused with the ability to unite people
- Effective communication skills at the management and board level
- Ability to gain trust from business leaders
- Excellent analytical and structured problem-solving skills
- Proven success in achieving and exceeding revenue goals
- Strong leadership skills
- Fluency in Danish and English
- Network in the Danish startup ecosystem (preferred)
