CVX Ventures is seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to lead their Danish division in Copenhagen. The Sales Manager will be responsible for shaping strategy, driving commercial expertise, and ensuring long-term profitability. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a natural ability to build trust and connections, be extremely driven, hands-on, and able to inspire a high-performance team.

CVX is one of Europe's fastest-growing venture investors, aiming to become the largest by providing growth companies with capital, knowledge, and networks. They believe the best investors offer entrepreneurs the right knowledge, experience, and network for their specific phase and industry. CVX invests with top business angels, currently having over 700 angel investor partners.

Role Involves:

  • Developing and implementing sales strategies.
  • Building a strong lead generation system.
  • Driving sales and exceeding revenue goals.
  • Hiring, developing, and leading a top-class sales team.
  • Participating in budget work and setting organizational goals.
  • Monitoring KPIs and implementing action plans for improvement.
  • Representing CVX at events and conferences.
  • Collaborating with other leaders.
  • Reporting directly to the CEO.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in venture capital, high-growth startups, or fast-paced environments.
  • A natural ability to sell.
  • Proven success in achieving and exceeding revenue goals.
  • High work ethic and a strong sense of urgency.
  • Extremely driven with a desire to be the best.
  • Proactive approach and ability to take ownership.
  • People-focused with the ability to unite people.
  • Effective communication skills at the management and board level.
  • Ability to gain trust from business leaders.
  • Excellent analytical and structured problem-solving skills.
  • Humility and a passion for building and developing new businesses.
  • Fluency in Danish and English.
  • A network within the Danish startup ecosystem is a plus.
