Job Description
LastPass is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to ensure quality within their team. The Senior QA Engineer will lead quality discussions, contribute to test planning, and oversee the quality health of their area. This role involves collaborating with engineers, product managers, and designers to define effective strategies for verifying software quality. The Senior QA Engineer will also mentor junior QA team members and participate in the full software development lifecycle.
Role involves:
- Taking ownership of testing software changes before release.
- Creating comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scenarios.
- Advocating for quality across the team and organization.
- Supporting the scrum team in building high-quality software.
- Partnering with the support team to assess and prioritize issues.
- Mentoring junior QA team members.
- Being involved in the full software development lifecycle.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar QA role.
- Proven experience in designing complex and effective test cases.
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies and best practices.
- Good understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, TestRail, and GitLab.
- Familiarity with technologies that support testing activities.
- Experience working across both macOS and Windows environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
