Job Description
Markforged is seeking a Strategic Account Manager to drive direct-led business growth in Tokyo, Japan. This role involves generating new revenue streams from new clients by developing a sales pipeline, crafting strategic business transformation proposals, nurturing strategic partnerships, and closing large deals at the CxO level.
- Proactively identify new business opportunities and potential clients.
- Develop a sustainable sales pipeline through outbound initiatives.
- Research, draft, and present business transformational proposals.
- Build and maintain relationships with strategic partners.
- Qualify prospects and move opportunities through the sales pipeline.
- Articulate and share Industry 4.0 insights.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (Master's preferred).
- Significant experience in a business development role.
- Experience in direct sales to C-level executives.
- Past experience in high tech sales (e.g., 3D CAD, Solidworks, Autodesk, Robots Automation).
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of design and manufacturing industry trends.
