Job Description

Verisign is seeking a skilled Mid-level Data Engineer to contribute to the design, building, and maintenance of large-scale, high-throughput data products and services. This role involves delivering actionable operational and business intelligence and requires a passion for all aspects of data engineering, fluency in Java, and eagerness to learn. The candidate will collaborate with various teams, including Data Platform, Business, Infrastructure, Engineering, Security, and Operation Teams.Verisign expects the candidate to take full ownership of data products, regularly interacting with internal customers and proactively addressing their data needs.Responsibilities:

• Designing, developing, and optimizing real-time and batch data processing pipelines.
• Developing and maintaining custom Java, Scala, and Python components.
• Creating interactive dashboards for internal customers.
• Troubleshooting complex data processing issues.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar technical major.
• 5+ years of relevant Data Engineering experience.
• Experience with Akka Streams and Spark.
• Experience with Druid, Hive, and other databases.
