Job Description
Distran, a Swiss high-technology company, is seeking a Global Head of Sales to lead its global expansion. This role is crucial for ensuring that a growing number of global customers benefit from Distran's ultrasound cameras. The Global Head of Sales will develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy, ensure global alignment, and drive strong sales performance to establish Distran as an industry leader. This executive leader will foster relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.In this role, the Global Head of Sales will:
  • Work with Senior Management and Regional Sales teams to develop and implement sales and go-to-market strategies.
  • Lead and manage a distributed sales team.
  • Establish and nurture long-term relationships with key clients, distributors, and strategic partners.
  • Oversee contract negotiations and major account management.
  • Oversee all aspects of the company’s sales operations.
  • Establish, monitor, and analyze sales performance metrics.
  • Continuously improve forecasting methodologies and sales processes.
  • Provide Senior Management and the Board with accurate, data-driven insights.
  • Collaborate internally with Application Engineering and Marketing teams.
  • Represent Distran at industry events, conferences, trade shows, and key business meetings.
Distran requires:
  • At least 10 years of experience in global sales or business development, selling high-value technical products.
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably with an engineering background.
  • Experience in target industries such as oil & gas, chemistry, or power generation is highly desirable.
  • Experience managing both direct sales and indirect channels/distributors.
  • A proven record of setting up and implementing sales strategies and processes.
  • Experience managing global, distributed sales teams.
  • Strong coaching, mentoring, and training skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and globally.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (at least 50%).
  • Fluency in English.
