Job Description

Alignerr, operated by Labelbox, is seeking a Freelance Software Engineer specializing in C# to contribute to AI training. The role involves shaping the future of AI by building and evaluating AI systems capable of understanding and generating high-quality C# code. This position aims to enhance AI's ability to assist developers by ensuring it is grounded in robust programming principles.

Responsibilities:

• Review AI-generated C# code for clarity, correctness, and structure.
• Write clean and scalable C# solutions to real-world coding challenges.
• Document reasoning with clear explanations and step-by-step logic.
• Identify coding ambiguities or failure cases and provide feedback to improve model behavior.

Requirements:

• Fluent in English and confident in technical communication.
• Expertise in C#: Familiarity with .NET, LINQ, async/await, and OOP design principles.
• 3-5 years of experience with C# in enterprise apps, game development, or backend systems is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree (or pursuing one) in Computer Science or related field. Master’s or PhD preferred.
• Strong interest in AI, model evaluation, and software craftsmanship.
