Alignerr.com, operated by Labelbox, is seeking a Freelance Software Engineer specializing in Go (Golang) to help train AI models. This role involves shaping the future of AI by leveraging expertise in systems and backend development to enhance AI's ability to write performant Go code.Role involves:

• Reviewing and assessing AI-generated Go code.
• Writing performant Go code for common systems and backend problems.
• Explaining problem-solving approaches and evaluation criteria.
• Identifying and surfacing issues or edge cases in AI outputs.

Requirements:

• Fluent in English with clear communication skills.
• Expertise in Go, including goroutines, channels, concurrency, and package organization.
• 3-5 years of backend or distributed systems experience using Go is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree (or pursuing one) in Computer Science or related field; Master’s or PhD preferred.
• Eager to apply Go skills to cutting-edge AI work.
