Alignerr.com, operated by Labelbox, is seeking a Freelance Software Engineer with Java expertise to contribute to AI training. This role involves shaping the future of AI by training and evaluating AI models, ensuring they generate accurate and high-quality information. The engineer will use their Java skills to assess code, solve real-world programming challenges, and enhance AI systems' problem-solving capabilities.Role involves:

• Reviewing and evaluating AI-generated Java code for correctness, efficiency, and clarity.
• Writing high-quality Java solutions to coding problems across varying difficulty levels.
• Creating clear, human-readable explanations for code logic and problem-solving strategies.
• Identifying and flagging edge cases or ambiguities in problem statements or AI responses.

Requirements:

• Fluent in English with strong written communication skills.
• Deep familiarity with core Java concepts (OOP, multithreading, exception handling, standard libraries).
• 3-5 years of experience with Java frameworks, tools, or domains (e.g., Spring, Android, backend development) is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree (or pursuing one) in Computer Science or a related field.
• Curiosity and passion for AI and machine learning.
