Job Description

Alignerr, operated by Labelbox, is seeking a Freelance Software Engineer specializing in TypeScript to help shape the future of AI. The successful candidate will join a community of subject matter experts focused on aligning AI models by creating high-quality data. This role involves guiding AI to write better-typed, scalable, and modern JavaScript applications.

The Software Engineer will review and provide feedback on AI-generated TypeScript code, solve development challenges using idiomatic TypeScript, and write summaries explaining decisions and reasoning. They will also provide guidance on type safety, best practices, and edge case handling.

Role Involves:

• Reviewing and providing feedback on AI-generated TypeScript code.

Requirements:

• Fluent in English, with strong communication skills.
• Expertise in TypeScript: Solid understanding of static typing, generics, interfaces, and modern JavaScript features.
• 3-5 years of frontend or full-stack TypeScript experience (e.g., React, Angular, Node) is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree (or pursuing one) in Computer Science or a related field. Master’s or PhD preferred.
