Job Description
CloudKitchens is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to contribute to building Infrastructure for Better Food. The engineer will develop elegant products using world-class technologies, impacting millions of restaurateurs. This role involves solving complex problems in distributed systems, workflows, and more, using languages like Java, Python, and Go.Responsibilities include:
  • Producing high-quality code and contributing to cross-functional projects.
  • Owning features or systems and ensuring their scalability.
  • Assisting operations and business teams in resolving production issues.
  • Collaborating with engineers across teams and reviewing code.
  • Improving engineering standards, tooling, and processes.
  • Building in a dynamic environment using Data-Driven Development and Agile Methodologies.
Requirements include:
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience with languages like Java, Go, C++, and Python.
  • Experience with distributed systems and technical architecture decisions.
  • Familiarity with the full software development lifecycle.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong computer science fundamentals.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • A love for good food.
