Job Description

VTS is seeking a strategic and hands-on Senior Manager, People to serve as a trusted People Business Partner and oversee end-to-end recruitment strategies. The Senior Manager will be a key driver of culture, engagement, and organizational effectiveness, supporting both the people and growth of VTS. This position reports to the VP, People Operations in NYC.

Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships with key teams and leaders.
  • Provide expertise in career planning, performance management, coaching, compensation, and employee relations.
  • Recommend, develop, and implement new HR processes.
  • Collaborate with global VTS centers of expertise.
  • Manage the onboarding process.
  • Conduct employee surveys and drive culture initiatives.
  • Provide support to employees and managers regarding HR tools and policies.
  • Act as an employee advocate and handle employee relations concerns.
  • Maintain knowledge of employment standards and ensure compliance.
  • Manage annual and semi-annual review and promotion process.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in Human Resources and People Teams, including time spent in a Business Partner role.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience.
  • High level of excellence, accountability, and flexibility.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Workspace.
  • Comfort working across all levels of the organization and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Deep understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and talent management strategies.
  • Experience with HR systems and strong comfort level with data and reporting.
  • Ability to thrive independently and collaborate effectively.
