Job Description
GiveWell is seeking a Manager, Gift Processing to lead the team responsible for processing gifts from over 30,000 donors annually. This role is crucial for maintaining donor experience and GiveWell’s ability to save lives. The Manager will report to the Head of Business Operations and manage a small team.
Role involves:
- Managing the gift processing team and seasonal staff.
- Overseeing the full life cycle of gift processing, including receipt, recording, acknowledgment, reconciliation, and compliance.
- Managing donation systems and data, implementing upgrades, and ensuring data flow between platforms.
- Collaborating with finance, tech, and philanthropy teams.
- Managing projects to optimize gift processing.
Requirements:
- At least five years of experience in gift processing, advancement, or revenue operations.
- A minimum of two years as a people manager.
- Experience leading strategy and setting goals for continuous improvement.
- Experience leading complex projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Experience in a non-profit or mission-driven organization.
- Impeccable communication skills.
- Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Proficiency with Salesforce (NonProfit Success Pack).
- Strong data analysis skills using Excel and Google Sheets.
